The University is committed to equal opportunities and will not tolerate any form of harassment and discrimination. Every student and staff member has the responsibility to know what the anti-discrimination laws are about, what their legal implications are and how they apply to us on campus and at workplace.

In this regard, the Committee Against Discrimination and Sexual Harassment, together with Diversity and Inclusion Office and Human Resources Office, have engaged the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) to arrange a talk on “Introduction to the Anti-Discrimination Laws of Hong Kong”. The talk will cover prohibited grounds and unlawful acts under the anti-discrimination ordinances; as well as preventing and countering discrimination on campus. Details of the talk are as follows:
